About me…

I believe therapy should meet you where you are — not where someone else thinks you should be. My approach is individualized and flexible. You set the goals based on your needs, and I use the therapeutic modalities best suited to help you reach them. There’s no “cookie-cutter” method here, because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, Florida, and Vermont. I hold master’s degrees in Social Work (University of Houston) and Divinity (Notre Dame Graduate School of Theology). My background, personally and professionally, gives me a broad and grounded perspective rooted in real-life experience.

I grew up between cultures, born in Texas, raised in Brazil and Chile. I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish. These experiences taught me early on how to connect with people from all walks of life, and that’s something I carry into every session. I meet people where they are, with empathy, respect, and a focus on what actually helps. If you're looking for a therapist who listens, understands complexity, and helps you make real progress—you’re in the right place.

On a personal note, one of the best things I’ve ever done was adopt my rescue dog, Colin DaDog (my co-therapist). He came from a background of severe abuse, and it’s been a joy to give him the love, attention, and safety he needed. He’s taught me a lot about trust and healing, lessons I carry into my work with people too.
